I want a build a Mini tank, So I designed it and 3D printed it, and to control it I am using ESP32 ESP-NOW Communication in which one ESP32 acts as Master(Tx) and one acts as Slave(Rx). I have compressed the Tx and Rx PCB Files( Gerber, BOM, Pick and Place, Diagram) in a zip file so you can download and extract to get all these files. Recently, while working on my RC FAT Truck project, I decided to reuse these boards and found a few design flaws. I’ve now updated the PCB files to improve performance and reliability. Here’s what has changed: 📡 Receiver PCB Updates – August 2025 1. Increased the width of the power traces to handle higher current. 2. Removed the copper zone underneath the ESP32 module’s antenna area to reduce signal interference. 3. Converted the Motor and Battery pads to plated through-hole (multilayer) pads to prevent them from lifting under stress. 🎮 Transmitter PCB Updates – August 2025 1. Increased the width of the power traces to support better current flow. 2. Added an LDO (RT9080) to regulate the battery voltage to a stable 3.3V for the joysticks and microcontroller. Earlier, I used a diode to drop the 1S LiPo voltage (~4.2V), which was unreliable as battery voltage drops over time. This caused unstable analog readings and posed a risk to the ESP32. 3. Added vias to the battery pad to reinforce the connection and prevent pad lifting in a single-layer design. ✅ Feel free to use the updated files! If you’re using the older version, I highly recommend switching to this improved one for better stability and performance.
