Here's my take on the old school hot wheels track builder kit I had as a kid. The track profile matches and is compatible with the newer, slightly narrower, track available today. The pictures and videos show all the pieces that are included. Most of the videos show this track in use with a Hot Wheels RC Car but it can also be used as a gravity track or with standard Hot Wheels boosters. The videos and pictures show all the pieces that are included. The videos shows 3 laps of a RC Hot Wheels car on a couple different layouts. The second video shows a little too much boost on the last lap. The major difference is the track uses an all new connector and track design specifically suited to 3D printing. The tracks, connectors, loop, curves and jump all print without supports. The track itself is a much lower profile, since it does not have the connector groove profiles on the underside. This makes the track thinner and more flexible when printed with PETG (similar flexibility as standard Hot Wheels track). A custom track connector is provided so that standard Hot Wheels track and accessories such as launchers and boosters can be used with this system. See pictures attached. The system is working great and I will add more to this in the future (let me know what you'd like to see). After the system is downloaded, you will get notified when updates are available. All updates are downloadable for free. Description of track connectors included: V3 - Standard connector with chamfered lock buttons. Easiest to install and remove. V3.1 - Same as V3 but without chamfered lock buttons. Stronger slip free joints. Good for loops and corners. Flanged option provided to enable fastening down with screws or holding track in place with flat weight (good for track in and out of loop). V3.2 - Heavy duty connector (flanged and flangeless) for free form large loops (see pictures/video). Description of track included: High wall track - 70mm, 200mm and 240mm lengths. Low wall track - 240mm long. Use with loop base and loop connector. Super-flex (Very low wall track) - 240mm long. Use with large offset loops and other flexible track ideas. Update Dec 6, 2025: See the all new V5.2 STL's files for a all new modular curve design. It allows the track to angle into the curve like the original Hot Wheels curves. This system allows you to make a basic 90deg curve with just the 45deg RH and LH curves but you can also add any combination of 30, 45, 60 & 105deg mid curves. The figure 8 video shows the 45deg RH & LH curves with a 105deg mid curve for a total curve of 195deg. This also comes with a new curve connector that is compatible with the original V4 180deg curves and a new V5.2 track connector in and out of the curve. The curves are also labeled on the underside so they are not mixed up. You must use the 45deg RH and LH curves to build all your modular curves since the mid curves are slightly wider. I also added a 3 piece, snap together and pivoting, track cross over that is shown in the figure 8 video and a couple of pictures. I hope you and your kids/grandkids enjoy it.
