🔧 3D Car Safety Cage Models — Scale It Your Way! 🔧 I create safety cage models in 1:1 scale for real cars. This means every dimension in the model perfectly matches the real-life part. 📏 Original tube thickness — 40 mm. When you scale down the model, the tube thickness will automatically adjust to match the chosen scale, keeping the model visually accurate. To print your model in the desired scale, simply change the percentage in your slicer: 🔸 100% — 1:1 (real car size) 🔸 50% — 1:2 (half the size) 🔸 33.3% — 1:3 🔸 25% — 1:4 🔸 20% — 1:5 🔸 16.6% — 1:6 🔸 14.2% — 1:7 🔸 12.5% — 1:8 🔸 11.1% — 1:9 🔸 10% — 1:10 (shelf display size) 🔸 5% — 1:20 (miniature model) 🔸 2% — 1:50 (tiny replica) 📘 Example of tube thickness at different scales: 100% → 40 mm 50% → 20 mm 33.3% → 13.3 mm 25% → 10 mm 10% → 4 mm 5% → 2 mm 2% → 0.8 mm 🚨 Important Note: If the model becomes too small (below 10%), the tubes might get too thin and difficult to print. For better durability and detail, avoid scaling smaller than 5%. 🔧 Fixing Thin Tubes: If the tubes get too thin when scaling down, you can easily add extra thickness using Blender. It’s super simple — just search "how to add thickness to a 3D model in Blender" on YouTube, and follow the step-by-step tutorials. Now it's all clear: pick your scale, adjust the percentage, and start printing! 🚀 If anything seems unclear, come back to this guide — it’s here to save you time and hassle. 😉
