Test Car 5 - Test Service Car 8 - Test Service Car 9 These 3 coaches were all converted during the 1970’s to support the testing of the APT, which I have created in N gauge and is available from www.beeshillmodels.co.uk RDB975051 - Test Car 5 RDB975630 - Test Service Car 8 - featured a grille on one side which is a separate print that fits into the window aperture (left of centre of coach on one side), 5 & 8 were used as part of the APT Power Car test train RDB975631 - Test Service Car 9 was used as part of the APT Trailer Car test train. For reference pictures: http://www.traintesting.com/RTC_rolling_stock_index.htm I designed these coaches in N gauge to use the Minitrix Mk1 chassis although should also suit an older Farish chassis, I created this to bolster my collection. They could easily be printed in other scales. Once primed and painted, your coach can be finished off by using Deluxe Materials Glue’n’Glaze to fill the window apertures and then fitting it to a suitable chassis. I keep the larger cross bracing in place inside the coach body for strength, I use a Minitrix chassis which needs a little snipping away (Do Not Use a Lima Mk1, it is too small)
