Installation Installation is simple and requires minimal modification: To mount the SlideCup in the BMW E46 center vent, remove the original internal slats (vertical ribs) from one of the middle air vents. No additional dashboard modifications are required. Once the internal ribs are removed, the cup holder snaps into the vent housing with a click-fit mechanism, ensuring secure and stable retention.
