The Team Acrobatic is here with the Snake Oiler car! IMPORTANT: You'll find the files to the original version and the V2 version (only the parts that were modified for that), but the instructions are exactly the same. Also, please use the V2-SnakeScoop and V2-FrontBody files that are separate form the .Zip, as they fix some minor problems. The same with the Interior-A and Interior-B and SeatMain files. This is a fully detailed replica of the original cartoon car from the Speed Racer TV show. I tried to strike a balance between the exaggerated proportions and a slightly more stylized, realistic look. It’s always tricky to model these cars, since the shape seems to change in every frame you use for reference—but I think this is a pretty accurate representation. As usual, thanks to my friend DistractedGeek for helping me out on the reference material and supporting my work as always. To ensure the wheels actually spin, you’ll need a 2 mm metal rod—like the kind commonly found in hanger wire—to use as the wheel axles. Hope you like it, and happy printing!
